Upper Extremity Pain/Numbness

In October 2011 I was experiencing severe neck and arm pain to the extent that I was uh, kinda-please let me have a gun so I can stop this. LOL.  I had been dealing with this for a two week period prior to seeking help.  I also had similar symptoms earlier in the 2000’s which were treated successfully with chiropractic.  The symptoms had stayed away for a significant amount of time, but then returned unexpectedly.

I am always treated very well by the friendly staff.  Dr. Schnelle is very concerned for patient outcome.  I have improved greatly since first seeing Dr. Schnelle and his insistence on me following “orders” and being patient about treatment.

My results have been very good to excellent.  I have no pain anywhere as I am writing this.  Despite some small episodes earlier in the day and last night, which were not more than maybe “2” at most, and they were off and on.

I will recommend Dr. Schnelle to anyone who is complaining of pains I suspect are vertebral related!  I also like Dr. Schnelle’s sense of humor; it helped me to not despair at beginning of treatment, when pains were persistent.

I first saw Dr. Schnelle because of neck pain shooting into my upper back on the left.  I had been dealing with it for 16 years and it was continuing to get worse.  Temporary help in the past was provided by massage, stretching and Advil.  It was getting to the point where the pain was interfering with social activities and exercising.  

My symptoms have greatly improved since beginning treatment.  I am always treated very well by the staff.  When recommending Dr. Schnelle to others I tell them that he is a really cool, nice guy.  He won’t rip you off and does a good job.

I first saw Dr. Schnelle in February 2009 for neck & back pain, and left hand numbness, which was later determined to be due to Degenerative Disc Disease and spinal misalignment. I also had other symptoms, which included sinus issues, fatigue, shortened concentration span and insomnia. I had been suffering for an indefinite amount of time, possibly as long as 6-7 years.

I previously saw a neurologist for my symptoms, unfortunately with no results. I also saw an acupuncturist, which did provide some minimal but temporary relief.

I was always treated politely and professionally by the staff at Choice Chiropractic & Wellness Center. The best part about my care is the restoration of my spinal integrity to the best it can be. There is nothing that I didn’t like about my care. It has been a very positive experience all in all.

My results with Dr. Schnelle have been excellent so far. I have a lot less left hand numbness and pain for the first time in years. All my symptoms have decreased since I began treatment. My neck is aligning nicely and my corrective care is progressing well.

If asked to recommend Dr. Schnelle I would say that he is very friendly, professional and results-orientated. He really cares about his patients.

When I first saw Dr. Schnelle, I was experiencing severe lower-right back pain and spasms, along with neck stiffness and limited movement. I had left palm numbness and severe pain at night. I could hardly get out of bed in the morning due to pain and extreme muscle stiffness and spasm. I was kept awake much of the time during the night. It took a long time to get in and out of the car, and I was unable to lift anything. I had been suffering for at least one and a half, going on, two years.

Before seeking chiropractic care I received massage therapy and would take Ibuprofen. I put off seeing a doctor because I kept telling myself that the pain was “tolerable”. I realized that my condition was not getting better or going away. My wife was tired of me not doing something about it and referred me to Dr. Schnelle.

The staff at Choice Chiropractic and Wellness Center is very professional and informative, yet friendly. What I like most about my care is that Dr. Schnelle is concerned about my progress and my condition. He is always willing to answer my questions and concerns.  Also, the office hours are flexible and they are close to my workplace. The most challenging part of my care is making time to fit in appointments and making sure to perform my exercises regularly, though I know they are a must.

My results have been surprisingly good!  The pain and spasms I had experienced have been greatly reduced. I am able to move without pain.  My left palm numbness is completely gone.  I am also sleeping much better. Very happy!

I would recommend Dr. Schnelle to everyone- without hesitation. I have already told my friends and family members. Also, my wife is in treatment with him too.

I came in with numbness and weakness in my lower left arm, wrist and hand, primarily between my index finger and my thumb. I woke up one morning with these symptoms and I decided to seek chiropractic care when I saw that the symptoms were not going away. Three days I suffered with my hand having pretty much no strength before going to Dr. Schnelle. In addition I have had lower back problems come and go over the years which I also brought to Dr. Schnelle’s attention.

I was treated very well by the staff. I called Dr. Schnelle first thing on Monday morning after the symptoms occurred. I told him what I was feeling (or not feeling) and he could hear the concern and urgency in my voice. He was so kind and was able to schedule me for an evaluation that day!

Initially the symptom relief was what I liked most about my care but later the thoroughness of the complete corrective care package, which I realized was more important. Dr. Schnelle is great at explaining “what” he is doing and “why” he is doing it. He not only cares about his patients chiropractic care but he also cares about their overall health. Not to mention, my back, neck and arm all feel great now.

After only a few weeks the numbness in my hand went away and my strength came back. The occasional lower back pain has pretty much been completely eliminated and I am seeing positive results in the natural curvature of my neck.

I would highly recommend Dr. Schnelle. He takes his time with each patient to really understand their problems and symptoms so he can recommend the right care program. He is an expert in his field and certainly goes above and beyond with his patients.
